Hi, I’m Ashley!

About Me

Welcome!

I’m so glad you’re here. I know that starting therapy can feel overwhelming and may push you out of your comfort zone. You may have many questions, like whether it will work or if it’s the right choice. I once had these same questions before starting counseling myself, so I truly understand how intimidating it can feel.

Who I Work With

I work with individuals from ages 5 and up, including children, adolescents, and young adults. My goal is to provide support and guidance to anyone navigating life’s challenges, helping them find their path to healing and self-acceptance.

My Approach to Therapy

In our sessions, I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities to create a supportive and personalized experience.

My therapeutic techniques include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Person-Centered Therapy
  • Animal-Assisted Therapy
  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
  • Art Therapy
  • Play Therapy
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

My aim is to provide a compassionate environment where growth and healing can thrive.

Common Questions You Might Have

I know this time in life can feel difficult and overwhelming, and you may have questions like:

Is there any hope that things will get better for myself or my child?

What if therapy doesn’t work for my child or me?

How do I know I am capable of change?

What if I’m not ready for therapy?

I’m here to help you or your child overcome what feels impossible and to help you see your inner strength. Therapy is about growth, self-acceptance, and learning to believe in yourself. No matter where you are in your journey, there is always hope. Together, we’ll find the answers to what’s getting in the way and uncover a path toward a life where you can thrive.

Why I Became a Therapist

My own journey with therapy began with my struggles with anxiety and panic attacks. The rapid heartbeat, tingling sensations, and feelings of panic were overwhelming, leaving me feeling lost and anxious. At first, I tried to push these feelings away, but they only grew stronger. Therapy was the turning point that allowed me to regain control. Though anxiety is something I still live with, I’ve learned valuable ways to manage it and accept it without letting it take over my life. This journey inspired me to pursue a career in therapy, so I could help others facing similar challenges.

Here for You

You deserve more than just getting by—you deserve to truly thrive. If you’re ready to take the next step, I encourage you to reach out and start this journey together.

“There is not one path, but many that can lead to hope and growth.”
