Hi and welcome!

I know all too well how scary it can be to take the leap and begin counseling. It can be out of your comfort zone, leaving you with many questions about how and if it will work. I commend you for taking this first step toward growth and change.

● Process and explore the changes that life has brought. By building upon the therapeutic alliance and using approaches like traditional talk therapy and solution-focused therapy, you can master how to problem-solve when life throws you curveballs.
● Explore the root of your anxiety/depression through the use of CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques. This will allow you to grow an understanding of what is contributing to your anxious or depressive thoughts, while also learning skills to build resilience and regulate emotions more appropriately.
● Do you have trouble staying organized? Do you find yourself getting easily distracted? Are you forgetful and often make mistakes? I can help you navigate the difficulties that ADHD can create by learning better ways to organize and stay focused on day-to day tasks by utilizing CBT.
● Help foster emotional regulation and coping skills in your children. Children often express themselves in more ways than just talking, and by using a creative arts and play therapy approach, I can help your child grow their ability to emotionally regulate and learn coping skills for a variety of difficulties they may experience.
