Hey there, welcome in! I’m so excited to meet you, and eager to learn more about your journey that has led you to this page!

I know it could be difficult to finally decide to take a huge step for yourself and your future, especially with all of the daily stressors and responsibilities we face, but I’m so proud of you for doing so! It takes a lot of courage to seek help, but you clearly have some honey badger in you, because here you are.

I’d like to start off by checking if any of the following resonate with you:

If so, you’re not alone. These struggles are common, and I’m here to help you figure out that no matter what adversity you’re facing, you can have the tools and confidence to get through it. 

Together, we can:

● Explore the root of your anxiety and develop personalized coping mechanisms using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness. This will allow you to not let your emotions take control of your rational thinking. 

● Understand the factors contributing to your substance use, by finding out how family dynamics, your environment, and traumas have potentially influenced it, as well as work with harm reduction techniques to help you manage your life.

● Navigate relationship challenges through collaborative and strengths-based therapy, including Motivational Interviewing. We’ll work on fostering communication, identifying unhealthy patterns, setting boundaries and building confidence to recognize the types of relationships you want/need in your life, and removing the ones you don’t. 

Therapy with me is a team effort. You will never have the opportunity to just sit with me for an hour and say nothing. I pride myself in getting something out of every session. But remember, most of the work comes from you!

We’ll work together to:

● Establish a safe and trusting space: Your comfort and confidentiality are the most important part of us being successful. I prioritize creating an environment where you know you are safe, and feel like you can tell me absolutely anything.

● Develop a treatment plan: We’ll work together to tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals, ensuring the approach resonates with you and effectively addresses your specific concerns.

● Empower you: I want all of my clients to know that they can be their biggest fans or advocates, even when they feel like everyone is rooting against them. If I know one thing, it’s that you can do anything you set your mind to, one thought challenge at a time. 

Personally, I can tell you that therapy played a life changing role in helping me manage through very difficult points in my life. I have known I’ve wanted to be a therapist since I was 16 years old, and nothing has changed. The therapists that have helped me in my past have only motivated me to be the best I can be, for YOU!  

I’ve learned that even in my hardest moments, I will make it out on the other side more resilient than ever, and I hope to help you get to that point as well.
